court decisions on particular subjects of law in a given country. |

Expertise in comparative
law area. Juriscope provides information, summary, and/or commentaries on requested
pieces of legislation or court decisions underlining the respective positions of several
legal systems concerning the same issue. Yet, Juriscope can not be a legal
consultant. |

Our clients can be
informed in the following two ways : They can either send us their questions on ad hoc
basis or subscribe to our regular services. The conditions for subscription may be
explained (up) on our clients’requests. |

Documentary update. Our
legal and language experts supervise the evolution of law in the different geographical
areas of the world. To this end, they use so various channels such as
documentary centres, new information technologies and foreign correspondents. |

Translation services |
Juriscope
has its own translators working in specific languages. For languages not known by Juriscope’s
lawyers, efficient authorised translators are resorted to. So far, with the request of the
French Ministry of justice, Juriscope has translated into French, the Italian and
Spanish Penal Procedure Codes, the German Bankruptcy Code and important sections of the
Russian Civil Code. |

in the translation work for French Codes in English as part of a vast project to circulate
French law in english and spanish. |
